DIY Dog Treats! Summer-inspired treats!
DIY Dog Treats! Summer Inspired Treats!
Hi everyone! I'm super sorry I haven't been posting lately! I am just letting you know that starting Wednesday, June 20th, I will not be posting until the 27th. I am very lucky to have a chance to visit the beautiful Riviera Maya in Mexico for an entire week! Anyways, today I am going to show you 3 DIY dog treats that are summer inspired! So let's just get on with it!
1- Watermelon Pup-sicle!
For this you will need a watermelon, coconut water, and a blender. First cut your watermelon in half and scoop out one of the halves. Throw in in the blender with one cup of coconut water and blend it all up! Pour the mixture into little cups or popsicle molds and you're done!
2- Peanut butter banana cookies!
First puree about one cup of oatmeal into fine dust. Add half a cup of peanut butter and mix it with the powder. Then add half a banana and mix into a dough. Cut them out with cookie cutters and bake at 350 degrees until they are golden brown.
3- Sweet potato cookies!
Add 3/4 cups gluten free flour, 1/4 cup rolled oats, 1 tablespoon honey, and 3.5 oz. sweet potato baby food to a bowl and mix well. Combine with one beaten egg and mix again. Knead the dough and roll it out to a thickness of about 1/3 inches and cut out shapes in the dough with a cookies cutter. Put in the oven at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.
