You will need:
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 cup softened butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 egg
- 2 1/4 cups all purpoise flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 cups chocolate chips
First, mix sugar, butter, vanilla, and your egg in a bowl. I decided to whisk mine rather than use an electric mixer. Then add in the flour, baking soda, and salt, and mix that in, too. Since mine became dry and crumbly, I added the milk slowly while mixing at low speed on an electric mixer. After that I took my chocolate chips and stirred them in with a spoon. Since I didn't want my cookies to be too big, I used a small spoon to scoop out little balls of cookie dough to place on my cooking sheet. Next heat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and slid the cookies in. This makes about 48 small cookies, and 36 larger cookies. I let them bake for about 13 minutes, then immediately let them cool on a wire rack. You will want them to cool for about 20 minutes before eating, as they will be hot. These cookies are very soft and chewy, and the chocolate chips add the perfect amount of crunch to the cookies. These are about 135 calories each, and have about 1 gram of protein. I really hope you enjoyed this recipe which I got from Betty Crocker .com. Make sure to follow my blog and also comment any posts you want to see in the future. Bye!!!
